Life is a series of choices. Every step is a choice, an option, a decision. We try our best to make these choices based on what we know. What we pick may not be based on what is right and what is wrong, but what we believe in our minds and hearts. Whatever we do decide, we have to compromise. It is always one or the other.

Spring Cleaning, Throwing out the good stuff

heap of clothes Yesterday was one of those days. I opened the huge bag and took out everything and set them on the couch; piles of clothes. I dont buy many, but there sure was quite a heap. Most of the clothes are memorable, how I got them, where and when even though that isnt quite a normal thing (is it?) with guys.

Since Ive been married I have been clearing out some of my old stuff. Yes men, youll have to get rid of some stuff you own and that is not even an option. Im not saying its a bad thing, it isnt, not really. The best advice I can offer the men, is, dont panic. Seriously, Im sure you will be able to retain and keep some of your values possessions regardless of its vague and powerful attachment that women dont understand. Its a guy thing, surprisingly sometimes works but not all the time.

Im accepting to change, which Im hopeful for. This way I can look forward to good new stuff, like better clothes (that fit better.. youd be surprised, heck, even I was!) and even more memorable moments of acquiring such [new] clothes and other accessories and appliances.

Lets just say, yesterday was one day and one bag cleared. Tomorrow, who knows? Im just sure it is worth it, even now, and in the future.

Ya rait every one realizes what you did and does the same!!!

My husband has stuff since he was a little baby in Kindergarten, and will not throw any away!!!! Stupid stuff like pens and visors and medals and math books!!! Things we do not really need and are taking up a huge amount of space and gathering dust!!!!

So i waited until he was travelling away one day and cleared one whole room of his junk!!! Not even suitable to give out!!! Trash immediately!!!!

and he still doesnt know because?! HE DOESNT NEED OR USE THEM!!!!!!

Hell no i dont think the wife has ANY RIGHT to throw away anything without her husband’s permission. You might not know why he’s attached to something and being his wife you should be the one person able to make him comfortable and accept all aspects of him? The only thing i’d be against is anything from a past relationship….. cuz thats excess baggage you dont want to follow you into a new relationship… not that i’m the jealous type or anything… :P

    It’s a good start…
Cleaning out your closet is hectic but it gives a good sense of accomplishment when done. And you feel fresh.

    You make me sound evil;(

And women do understand attachments to possessions! What are you saying?! *Gasp*

Trust me, it’s worth it darling;*

Oh, and baby, can you guess my favorite part?;p

LLOOLL – it’s the same in every culture! Here’s the thing – do you own things or do you things own you? I hate to part with books . . . but books are HEAVY to move, and moving seems to be the life I live. I had to learn to think differently — instead of keeping them (but never re-reading them), I choose to give them new life, serving others, reaching out to others, giving new ideas to others.

Same with old furniture, old clothes . . . and some things, honestly, I’m getting so much better, some things I can laugh after six months and just toss!

You can know she loves you because she cares how you look, and wants to share a life of togetherness. :-)

I have so much equipment I don’t even know what a woman would think of all of them! I would get rid of clothes! But not equipment!

Reserved, going to add something here later.
