My Creative Profile: Creative Pathfinder

Thanks to Shayma (ahamshay.com) for posting about an online creativity profiler. The test is a part of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh online division. I still remember watching the TV when I was in the US and always seeing the ads of the institute wondering if the scholarship program would agree if someone wanted to study in such institutes. I don’t think they will.
And as you know I am a large promoter of creativity and freeing your mind. After taking the test it turns out I’m a creative pathfinder and this is what it said about me.
HOW DO I THINK
Inspiration comes from innovation: your conscience lies with the future, You are inspired by how a problem is solved, not discussed. Pen to paper, you can grab any opportunity to record the thoughts that buzz about; you’ve got a creative head on those shoulders.
HOW I WORK
You learn best when you can discuss and argue the point. Learning should always be challenging and exciting. It would be great to be able to manage your own workload and be your own boss. Once you’ve got the know-how, you could realize your dream.

About the scholarship thing .. my cousin is getting her Masters in Fine Arts at the Art Institue of Chicago (I THINK) oo shes on Scholarship. You know what, gabil la afty I will ask, bas Im 89.99% Sure.

Kuwait doesn’t even recognize or accredit the Art Institute. I wanted to go there so bad to study Game Programming but apparently, it’s not good enough for them :/ It’s an amazing place for professionals.
About the accreditation, when I asked Kuwait Culture Office, this is what they had to say:
“The Art Institute of Pittsburgh is not regionally accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Aside from this, the institute is also not professionally accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).”
But that shouldn’t discourage Kuwaiti artists to go there if they want to, the AI has proved itself as one of the BEST art schools.

Game programming is so great and fun. I bought a book but didn’t really follow through with it. It really shouldn’t discourage Kuwaitis and they should freelance their work mostly, that is motly how creativity will get recognized. Even then it is a struggle!

hey i got creative pathfinder as well :D guess what i’m such a mess i know .. but deep down i know i got lot to share that would make people’s jaws dropped down .. bs sometime i feel that i cant even share my thoughts cuz they will be either stolen and written down by SOMEONE else’s name ( happened to me once ) OR it they could simply say its stupid or silly yet they know deep down its SO GREAT :D

How I think
Inspiration comes from feeling passion…it fills you with desire to live, laugh, and love! It’s all about detail…you have the patience and concentration needed to see a project though from start to finish. Living and laughing, you enjoy the lighter side of life. Your positive attitude and sense of fun will ooze out of your creative work.
How I live
Nothing beats seeing something that really touches you…open-minded you look for another opinion or take on life. A creative force, you have the ability to take it all in but also give back thoughts and feelings for others to take on board. Bliss are those moments you get to feel true love.
