Poll Question: How often do you shave? Please participate and vote on the right. Thank you!

I’ve been contemplating for a while now how to get the perfect shave. I don’t shave often, simply because I don’t have to. The rate at which my beard grows isn’t very rapid. I mostly shave at least once or twice a week. I do trim every few days though.

The main problem I have with shaving is getting the perfect lather. If you’re unfamiliar with the term later, it is the "foam" that forms when using the shaving cream. I simply can’t get it to match the one that I get when I get a shave at the barber!

I couldn’t find the right combination of hot/cold water and shaving cream. It usually ends up very bland and quite useless as a shaving cream.

I’m still trying to find the best way to mix and apply the shaving cream.

On another note, LifeHacker posted a great link to a video to teach you how you can shave using a Straight Razor.

I posted about Men and Style before but this time I have a question for you readers out there. Most of the style ideas we get are from pictures in magazines or news papers, TV shows, movies, or people we see out on the street. Some people choose to invent their own style and fail miserably while other succeed in creating a new fad, others just go with the traditional attire.

The question I have is for both men and women. We are (mostly) aware that traditional attire of dishdasha and qutra can be stylish and izgert (cool looking) as we like to call it.

So what would you consider hot and fashionable? Here are examples, of what you could say;

A Hawaiian shirt, and shorts.

Khakis and any dark/light shirt open in the front with a T-shirt underneath.

Jeans and a casual T-shirt.

Baggy Jeans, an oversized top (with some bling-bling).

I choose these examples on purpose, because of their diversity, but you get the picture right?

My other question is: Are hats out of trend? I’m not talking about baseball caps here. The most common I have seen around are fishermen’s hats.

Update: I understand most of you said it depends on where when and what you’re doing. It would help if you consider a casual outing, and special occasion outing as example events. Pardon my unclear questions! :)

There are only two elevators and usually customers are always coming in, up and down! Every time I go into an elevator it smells different! ?Sometimes it has this bukhour and dihn 3oud scent, I love that. At other times I smell pure coffee, and the beautiful coffee not just regular coffee smell!

A while ago, when I got on the elevator, the smell of flowers and some other sensual female perfume.. I love the fact that I’m working at the topmost floor.

P.S. Scent of a Woman comes to mind..

During my adolescent years I never paid a lot of attention to fashion as an important part of my life. Actually I believe my sense of style was the outcome of rebellion against society, tradition, culture, and everything else in this world. I enjoyed wearing black (as in very dark), baggy jeans (used to), torn jeans (ok that was way way back), obscene shirts (I still have some), and my single pair of running shoes.

In my later adolescent and current years, I stuck with the casual wear. Regular and casual t-shirts and shirts. A pair of jeans or khakis would usually suffice. However, I do get sometimes in the mood for the traditional Dishdasha and Qutra, I prefer pants in general.

Recently, I have been looking for an alternate and better source of information on style. Usually Magazines would do the trick however the lack of GQ in local stores didn’t help. I’m also trying to search online for something stylish, current, and fun. However, at the moment, I’m in a slump and I haven’t found a single site worth mentioning.
