Contrary to what you might think, “select star” is no more than a geek reference.
This is what happens in my head when I try to remember things. I imagine there are many SQL tables. I then do a “select * from faces” if I was to remember someone I might have known before.
Soon enough I get the message, “Error: MySQL server has gone away.” Huh? The query timed out. I then try a few other queries. “Select * from events where face.properties in (’white’,'male’,'funny mustache’,’smiles a lot’)”
A few minutes later and there is a potential result, I can feel my brain working hard. Sadly there are no results even for a few more minutes. I then decide heck, I’m not going to remember this guy even if I run multiple queries on a memcached MySQL cluser grid.
# killall mysql && /etc/init.d/mysql start
And there it is, what happens in my brain when I try to remember someone’s face.
“Powered by MySQL”

Does no one use the word nifty anymore? Really?
The image above is from Joud’s tag.
Here are the rules:
STEP 1 – NAME OF YOUR ARTIST/BAND
Go to "Wikipedia.com", hit "Random Article" (or just click the following link) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random Wikipedia article is "The name of your Artist/Band".
STEP 2 – ALBUM NAME
Go to "Quotationspage.com", then click on "Random quotations" (or just click the following link) http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the "Title of your first album".
STEP 3 – ALBUM ART
Go to Flickr.com, click on "Explore", then click on "The last seven days" (or just click the following link) http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
STEP 4 – PUT IT TOGETHER
Crop the image to a square format. Use Photoshop or similar programs to put the text together in any way you like.
I tag; Amethyst, G, Laialy, Miss-Informed, KJ… have I missed anyone?

Bananas are very elegant. You may wonder how or why but it is quite simple really. The shape of the banana makes it easy to handle. It can be held with one hand easily and pealed with the other with just as much ease.
The shape of the skin also helps to guide the person who is pealing the banana. The banana has seeds but they are soft and are easily considered an edible part of the banana.
The process of eating the banana is also simple and illustrates the elegance quite well. You can hold it with one hand and have your other hand free only to peal as you get closer to finishing it. It is also not so messy as you devour it you are slowly left with a peal that you discard at the end.
Elegance indeed.

I was looking for the Aramex main building online when I stumbled upon the Barcelona football stadium, as well as the Manchester football stadium all in A’ardiyah. If you want to drive around for fun, how about “Happiness Street“.
P.S. Arabic language required to read the actual names.

After the sun set, and we were sitting to eat. Somehow the issue of the chicken and the rooster came up; how we always only have chicken for lunch, or in sandwiches, but we never have rooster.
So the question was asked: Whatever happens to those roosters? And to our own shock and disbelief — it turned out that when roosters die, they become chicken!
You may say, “But, that is how it is, it is normal!” However, I would say, “Why does the male rooster die to become a female chicken? Isn’t that just wrong? It is wrong, very wrong.”
And there you have it folks, that is what happens…
…to the rooster.

I honestly believe tags are the perfect excuse for not posting regularly, they pop up out of no where and when you have nothing better to say, just do a tag!
I was tagged by Amethyst, who was tagged by F. who was.. okay I don’t want to go that far back. Anyway, without further ado here is the tag.
- I will always wear…
- …underwear, how can anyone not? Okay you don’t have to answer that. Seriously.
- I will never wear…
- …women’s clothing, or spandex. I don’t think I’d look good in either.
My bad-clothes-day advice…
…No comment. (This is an EXTREME female question.. I’m not going to answer it or consider an answer for it.)
- I know I look great when…
- …all the ladies are lookin this way.
- Smart travel tip…
- …don’t assume, and always check the weather before you go.
- To me summer means…
- …hot weather. The time when it meant relaxation is over, vacations are better during the winter anyway.
And with that I conclude this tag. Yes, a lot of what is up there is sarcastic, if you can’t already tell :p
Now, I’m going to tag Kaos, suspic, and Zed. They’re all guys, and I’m sure they will have very interesting answers.
P.S. If you’d like to look at previous tags, you can read my 6 Things, 7 Things, and 8 Things.
P.S.S. If you haven’t already voted, please take the time to vote on the poll on the right thank you!
P.S.S.S. I’m leaving to Dubai tomorrow with family for a few days, so I won’t be around. I’ll see you guys when I get back enshalla.

You know why I love vacuum cleaners?
(Yes, I’m a guy. And, yes, you’re not imagining things. And yes I am straight..)
They are designed to be switched on and off with your foot!
Based on my experience, I have come to see how nearly all the new vacuum cleaners have a huge button on them: big enough to step on. There is usually another huge button to retract the chord as well.
P.S. If you haven’t voted yet, please vote on the poll on the right?
