Life is a series of choices. Every step is a choice, an option, a decision. We try our best to make these choices based on what we know. What we pick may not be based on what is right and what is wrong, but what we believe in our minds and hearts. Whatever we do decide, we have to compromise. It is always one or the other.

Mr Hyde

71275688 Do all of us have a dark passenger? As Dexter put it. When you look at something, and don’t feel yourself, but you think strange thoughts that you normally wouldn’t have. You think of doing things you normally wouldn’t do. What relationship do you have with your Mr Hyde?

This is not a question of good versus evil, or right versus wrong, but YOU and the OTHER you. Does your dark passenger come out in certain situations? Is there really a dark passenger, a Mr Hyde, or are we one and the same.

Nice Guys Finish Last

Nice GuyWhen pursuing a relationship, it has been said that nice guys end up with nothing. They mostly end up being friends rather than having a relationship with the person they are interested in.

Nice guys finish last.

The original quote was related to a baseball game, however in terms of a relationship, what’s your take on it? True? False? Why?

Can We believe?

Do I believe what I want to believe? I hear things, many things, and sometimes I wonder if I only believe the things that I want to believe, to preserve my sanity probably, or my composure. Don’t worry this isn’t a depressed post, it is more of a questions post. One that I seem to always have a conversation with myself about. What about you, do you sometimes find yourself believing only the things you want to believe?

Apply Yourself, Be Creative

Be creative.

Think Innovation.

Unleash your mind.

Envision your future.

I am sure that there is a large portion of the population who are extremely creative and imaginative in the country. We also know that recognition of creativity is limited. The actual places and activities related to creativity are somewhat limited.

Creativity as I see is not only in the fields of music and art, but also all types of sciences, from physics to social sciences, from medicine to English literature. There is also photography, video capture, video editing, video directing, acting, writing. I’d also like to mention pottery, arts and crafts, and sculpting. I’d like for you to share if there is something you currently do, or would do to apply yourself.

How do/would you apply yourself? As a creative, imaginative, innovative person, how do/would you go about demonstrating your abilities?

Do you do something locally, for example play in a local band, have a small gallery, present your work to a local community?

Or maybe you prefer to be recognized in a global scale. Do you publish your work on the Internet? Are you a member of an international organization? Do you submit your work for international review?

Hot, Hot, Hot.

Hot OfficeI work in the very top floor in the building. Recently construction started, and they have begun from the top and will continue down the building. I can’t explain the details of what they are doing but so far they have ripped the windows out and replaced them with a thick cardboard. It is getting hotter by the minute.

Everyone is a Superhero: Identity

In many different ways, we all have our superhero identities. We travel the web with nicknames and disguises not many know of. We take down the sources of evil, noobishness, and all that is bad.. we prevail, to once again log off and enjoy our normal lives with our families.

Why is your online identity secret? Sure, everyone enjoys their privacy. In a small country like Kuwait, it has been proven that your first name gives a 65% chance of being known, add your last name adds 34% making that 99% (these statistics are made up). The question here is, what if you are known? Are you writing too many secrets? Are you showing a side of you that normal people do not see? Or are you truly a hero in disguise?

The question here is, why would you not want to be known for who you are?

Facebook Question

I enjoy facebook a little. It is nice to get around and meet old friends whom you have lost touch with. What I don’t like about it is currently only one thing. Those damned group messages! Is there an option to stop receiving messages ONLY from groups without leaving said group?

You’re unimperfect

Edit: Added a song at the end.

Influenced by DiiGMaa‘s Wonderful post (To me, you are…), I decided to write about my take on perfection and love. Read the following paragraph carefully, you might be amazed by the actual underlying meaning.

No one is perfect. We are all unique, but we are all the same, in our own little way. Do we all see things differently? Yet we might feel the same about them. Or do we see things the same, and feel differently about them? Do we see the ones we love in a different way that others see them? Do the people we love see us differently than the way others see us? Or is that what they meant by saying love is blind?

I know that was a little intense, but it should make you think (If you rather not think, skip this post :p). We love to see the ones we love in the best way, we love to love the people we love, and so… we choose to do so. Perfection has two meanings; the absolute meaning, and the relative meaning. The absolute meaning only exists in God. The relative meaning exists in everything else. We see as we perceive, and perceive as we see, that the world around us in an interpretation of our mind. It is a choice, whether we see love, or something else. It is our choice to love, or not.

Men Style, Really

Picking ClothesDuring my adolescent years I never paid a lot of attention to fashion as an important part of my life. Actually I believe my sense of style was the outcome of rebellion against society, tradition, culture, and everything else in this world. I enjoyed wearing black (as in very dark), baggy jeans (used to), torn jeans (ok that was way way back), obscene shirts (I still have some), and my single pair of running shoes.

In my later adolescent and current years, I stuck with the casual wear. Regular and casual t-shirts and shirts. A pair of jeans or khakis would usually suffice. However, I do get sometimes in the mood for the traditional Dishdasha and Qutra, I prefer pants in general.

Recently, I have been looking for an alternate and better source of information on style. Usually Magazines would do the trick however the lack of GQ in local stores didn’t help. I’m also trying to search online for something stylish, current, and fun. However, at the moment, I’m in a slump and I haven’t found a single site worth mentioning.

Reserved, going to add something here later.
