Life is a series of choices. Every step is a choice, an option, a decision. We try our best to make these choices based on what we know. What we pick may not be based on what is right and what is wrong, but what we believe in our minds and hearts. Whatever we do decide, we have to compromise. It is always one or the other.
I haven’t posted music in a while. I have been constantly listening to this album over the past few months. I have thought about posting it before, but I don’t know why I put it off.

“In the depth of my soul there is a wordless song.”
~ Kahlil Gibran
What happens if we fall, and don’t get up? We get walked all over. Nothing will happen if one does not get up and take that one step forward. Just one step, then maybe another. A step towards truth, towards a light, a step up. Not a step down, towards darkness. If all you see is darkness around you, take a look up, and you will see if but a hint of light that could be. If you don’t see the light, then keep moving up, and up, and farther until you see it. It is there, I promise you. You’ll find it.
It sure has been a while since I have posted a video. Before pressing play. Relax. I mean it. Stop for a moment, close your eyes and take a slow deep breath through your nose and feel the air. Then, while still closing your eyes, slowly exhale through your mouth.
Repeat the previous process until you feel more relaxed. Do it, you won’t lose a thing, besides all the stress you’re in :)
Now.. Enjoy the video clip.
Song: Kyoto Garden – Miyagi
Now the question is: Is it possible to be angry, yet still calm and totally composed?
Looks like today is going to be a good day enshalla! The morning is beautiful. The streets were crowded but that was alright, nothing too horrible. Did you know you could reduce driving congestion related stress by listening to some good music? Yep, it works!
I was contemplating the topic of my next mini-discussion here. I was first thinking about talking about hypocrisy. This is one of the deep subjects that gets a lot of people in trouble, confusion, and probably wars and fights.
The other subject that came across my mind was justice versus mercy. I understand that probably any sane person would decide on one based on the situation. Any argument which has no clear evidence will lead to pick either justice or mercy. Here is where it will get interesting.
I’m not sure yet which topic to pick. What do you think? Which should I pick?
As for now, I’ll leave you with a groovy song. You better get your butts off your seats and start shakin’.

Every once in a while we hear a song that shakes our core. I like this song and kept playing it over and over and over.. here it is.
Hinder — Better Than Me
I think you can do much better than me
After all the lies that I made you believe
Guilt kicks in and I start to see
The edge of the bed
Where your nightgown used to be
I told myself I won’t miss you
But I remember
What it feels like beside you
I really miss your hair in my face
And the way your innocence tastes
And I think you should know this
You deserve much better than me
While looking through your old box of notes
I found those pictures I took
That you were looking for
If there’s one memory I don’t want to lose
That time at the mall
You and me in the dressing room
I told myself I won’t miss you
But I remember
What it feels like beside you
I really miss your hair in my face
And the way your innocence tastes
And I think you should know this
You deserve much better than me
The bed I’m lying in is getting colder
Wish I never would’ve said it’s over
And I can’t pretend… I won’t think about you when I’m older
Cause we never really had our closure
This can’t be the end
I really miss your hair in my face
And the way your innocence tastes
And I think you should know this
You deserve much better than me
I really miss your hair in my face
And the way your innocence tastes
And I think you should know this
You deserve much better than me
(And I think you should know this)
(You deserve much better than me)
Last month I decided to share my current playlist with you, and today you’re getting a new batch of this wonderful music I listen to. You can click on the links on the right side bar to listen as well. Keep an open mind, and here are the two albums I have in store for you.
Andrea Bocelli – Sogno
– Bocelli, what more can I say? There are a few duets in this album, which give it a very unique taste. I hope you’ll like it.

I’ve always enjoyed good music. Whether it was Jazz, Rock, Hip Hop, House, Classical or any of the sorts. My recent additions to my favorite music include Lounge and New Age music. I also love oldies, as clearly shown from my Lets dance, 50s Style post. My brother who’s younger than me by 3 years always like one major type of music, Hip Hop. He did have a sort of tendency to enjoy Jazz since he did play the trumpet for a while. Today he surprised me! We got into the car and he’s like, listen..
None other than Frank Sinatra! Ah yes, the good life. I recommend some Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin if you enjoy the oldies as I do. ;)
